Lemon Blues are a medium size isopod species but are not very easy to take care of. Since they are a more difficult species they are not great for bioactive setups and are better as pets.

They require a high humidity environment and should be watered and fed twice a week. They eat yams or any root vegetables and fish food.

Lemon blue isopods are white not yellow.

The isopods arrived alive and healthy, which I’m very happy about. Shipping was fast, and the packaging was excellent. However, I was disappointed in the coloration. Four out of five were white and black rather than the expected yellow and blue/black, as shown in the photos. The description didn’t indicate any color variation, so I assumed I would receive isopods that looked like the ones pictured. That color mismatch is why I’m giving 3 stars.

Great Service

I was worried these little guys won't make it, so I asked for an upgrade to overnight. TWOI was accommodating. I order 5 and just 1 juvenile was dead, not a problem. The rest are happy healthy Pods.
